Club SciKidz Dallas offers summer camps and year-round programs that include activities such as drone piloting and robotics, esports Minecraft Academy, 3D design and printing workshops, and K-Pop Demon Hunters STEAM. The program also offers after school STEM programs, science assemblies, in-school field trips, scouting badge workshops, and home school sessions. Camp and program themes include art and STEAM, building and engineering, extreme science, filmmaking and effects, programming and coding, engineering and robotics, technology and innovation, and video game design, along with hands-on activities in veterinary medicine, robotics, forensics, video game creation, food science, paleontology, engineering, chemistry and biology, astronomy, oceanography, emergency medicine, and special effects.

Club SciKidz was established in 1997, and the Dallas franchise opened in 2009. Across Club SciKidz, there are over 50 themes that include hands-on projects and experiments for kids ages 4–15, and in Dallas there are over 70 themed camps for grades PK–8th offered each summer. The STEM curriculum uses carefully researched science lessons that involve observation, measurement, identifying properties, and experimentation with life, earth, and physical science concepts, and these units are researched by science educators with input from teachers and children. Club SciKidz states that its programs are renowned for an interactive approach to learning and hands-on exploration, and that it believes it has the most extensive science enrichment offering in the world.
Club SciKidz operates franchises in Georgia, Maryland, Kentucky, Virginia, and Texas, and each franchise is independently owned and operated. The Dallas franchise serves the greater Dallas community and surrounding suburbs.
Owners Bob and Sue Hagan are the founders of Club SciKidz. Dallas franchise owners Emily and Garrett Walker have owned the Dallas franchise since the summer of 2025. Bob and Sue Hagan have a combined 30 plus years of teaching experience and both hold a Master’s Degree in Education. Emily graduated from the University of North Texas in 2014 with a B.S. in Elementary Education with ESL certification and received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M Commerce in 2016, and before joining Club SciKidz full time she taught for 9 years in Garland ISD and Richardson ISD, most recently as an Advanced Learning Teacher with Richardson.
The company’s stated mission is to show how science works in the real world by providing hands-on activities in veterinary medicine, robotics, forensics, video game creation, food science, paleontology, engineering, chemistry and biology, astronomy, oceanography, emergency medicine, and special effects. One parent testimonial states, “I really loved getting to know the teachers and the director. Everyone was incredibly thoughtful and caring.” Another says, “Fun! Lots of fun and kind, caring staff! My son came home happy and well entertained.” Additional comments include, “Our kids went to five different camps last summer and this was our favorite,” and, “My daughter said she had a lot of fun.
