Frontier Camp is a Christian summer camp and retreat center that uses Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a platform. For 10 weeks of the summer, Frontier Camp offers a camping program for youth. Frontier Camp offers top quality recreation and exciting programming for campers, with the most important aspect of camp being the spiritual one based on the inerrant Word of God.

Frontier Camp has 50 years of camping success and was established in 1969. The camp has a twofold ministry, with a 10-week summer camping program for youth and a retreat facility for churches and other religious organizations of similar beliefs throughout the rest of the year. Frontier Camp exists to assist the local church in fulfilling the Great Commission through the evangelizing of all ages and discipling believers toward greater maturity in Christ, and it states that its purpose is to make disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s word in His creation. Frontier Camp wants to facilitate exposing people to Christ and encourage their growth toward spiritual maturity through the Word and by reflecting His character in their actions.
Frontier Camp is licensed as a youth camp by the Texas Department of State Health Services, is accredited by the American Camping Association, and is a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. The leadership team includes Executive Director Hans Meinardus, Registrar Shelby Hoppe, Staff Director Ruben Payne, Assistant Director Matt Henderson, Program Director Garrett Long, Health Care Admin Lily Long, Hospitality Coordinator Cierra Espinoza, Business Administration Bonnie Patterson, Assistant Program Director Karsten Wood, Assistant Staff Director, Content Creator and Store Manager Ana Wood, Hospitality Director Ben Helmer, and several Food Service Directors, including Cam Reeves, Gavin Richman, and Misty R.
