About
Hidalgo Youth Center Programs offers instructional classes throughout the entire year, including Karate, Guitar, Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Computers, and Arts & Crafts. For the guitar class, guitars are furnished for participants, and all of these classes are provided free of charge to members.
• Schedule: Operating hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm
• Price: These classes are provided free of charge to all of our members.
The programs are led by the Hidalgo Youth Center under the direction of Jaime Gaona, Youth Center Director. The City of Hidalgo states that it is committed to providing cost effective municipal facilities, infrastructure, and services that meet the needs of citizens, businesses, and visitors through well planned development resulting in exceptional quality of life. These classes are made possible because of funding through the United Way of South Texas.
