About
Hidalgo Youth Center Programs offers instructional classes throughout the entire year, including Karate, Guitar, Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Computers, and Arts & Crafts. Guitars are furnished for children who take the guitar classes.
• Schedule: Operating hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm
• Price: These classes are provided free of charge to all of our members.
The Hidalgo Youth Center Programs are led by Jaime Gaona, Youth Center Director. These classes are made possible because of funding through the United Way of South Texas. The program follows the mission of the City of Hidalgo: “The City of Hidalgo is committed to providing cost effective municipal facilities, infrastructure and services that meet the needs of citizens, businesses and visitors through well planned development resulting in exceptional quality of life.”
