Kidventure Camps offers a wide range of activities, including splash days, rock walls, puppet shows, bounce houses, foam play, reptile meet and greets, face paint, arts, crafts, sports, and art projects. Campers take part in daily awards and challenges, special snack activities, Sensory Arts, Story Time, Music & Movement, Water Play, Team Games, STEM Projects, Sports & Recreation, Creative Arts, Leadership Training, Adventure Challenges, Service Projects, Peer Mentoring, water activities, and weekly field trips. The program provides lunch and a light snack during the day.

• Schedule: Summer camp hours from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Monday through Friday, with drop-off at 8:00 or 9:00 and pickup at 3:30 or 6:00
Kidventure Camps offers programs for ages 3–5 (Discoverers), grades 1–5 (Explorers), and grades 6–9 (LEADS), along with overnight camp selections for ages 8–16 in the Texas Hill Country, including Safari Overnight Camps. The camp uses weekly themes with a unique and focused curriculum and maintains a low camper-to-staff ratio with a maximum 8:1 ratio. Secure check-in and check-out procedures, allergy management protocols, emergency communication plans, shaded outdoor areas, and hydration stations are part of the camp operations.
Kidventure began in 1994 as an outgrowth of a summer program at Biron Gymnastics in West Houston and has been operating for 32 years. The organization was founded in Texas in 1994 and is led by Founder and President Mike McDonell. Since 1994, Kidventure has provided dynamic and thoughtful children’s programs for thousands of families, with a stated goal to grow happy, healthy kids through the wonder of camp and a focus on building confidence, character, and connection. Kidventure is described as more than camp and as a launchpad for life, with camp designed with intentionality for youth development.
Every team member passes comprehensive background checks and receives ongoing training, and all counselors are certified in CPR, First Aid, and emergency response protocols. Kidventure is certified by the American Camp Association, and its day camps and overnight camps are described as award-winning camps. The program has a 4.9/5 average parent rating, serves over 31 locations, is trusted by 10,000+ Texas families since 1994, serves 10,000+ families yearly, and 85% of families return year after year.
Kidventure operates Camp Rainbow Days through its non-profit Ollie’s Kids, established in 2022, providing summer camp experiences to children experiencing homelessness, and incorporates public service activities for older campers.
