About
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston offers after-school programs that include mentorship, academic support, leadership opportunities, sports and recreation, organized athletics, access to the arts, and homework assistance. The program also offers volunteer opportunities, summer camps, family engagement, and a Remote Teen Club focused on the Life & Workforce Readiness Pillar. Youth are provided meals and interact with strong role models through the program’s activities.

• Schedule: Club and headquarters hours available Monday–Friday in the afternoons, with most Clubs open until early evening

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston is a private, nonprofit organization that serves more than 50,000 youth annually through 24 Clubs across five counties in the Greater Houston area. Over 50,000 youth ages 6 to 17 participate in its after-school and summer programs each year. The organization began in 1952 as The Variety Boys Club and was founded by Paul Boesch, Eddy Scurlock, Bob Smith, and George Strake, Sr. Its mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens
