Space Center Houston Education Programs (Explorer Camps and Space Center U)

Space Center Houston Education Programs (Explorer Camps and Space Center U) include activities such as a galactic soccer match and augmented reality (AR) games. Space Center U is described as a challenging multi-day program offered year-round to individuals and groups, and Explorer Camps and Space Center U are offered as immersive STEM day camp experiences for young explorers ages 3 to 18. Explorer Camps introduce children ages 4-11 to science, technology, engineering and math through engaging and hands-on learning activities.

• Schedule: Space Center U is a challenging multi-day program offered year-round to individuals and groups; specific 2026 sessions include AERIS: Atmospheric Exploration & Research in Science for ages 11–18 from Monday, July 27, 2026 to Friday, July 31, 2026, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Lunar Expedition for ages 11–14 from Monday, August 3, 2026 to Friday, August 7, 2026, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, and Martian Expedition for ages 15–18 from Monday, August 3, 2026 to Friday, August 7, 2026, 8:00 am–4:00 pm
