St. Luke’s Day School

St. Luke’s Day School is a Christ-centered early childhood program where educators and parents teach and strengthen each child’s emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual skills while playing and learning together. The curriculum, classrooms, and outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to encourage active learning and problem solving, foster emotionally satisfying relationships, grow healthy bodies, and promote a sense of community responsibility. Classrooms are set up as a bridge between a traditional school classroom and home, with natural elements, a neutral color palette, and visual order.

St. Luke’s Day School has been playing and learning together with children and families for over 70 years. The program is licensed by the State of Texas Department of Health & Human Services and accredited by COGNIA. It upholds Developmentally Appropriate Practice, with activities chosen based on knowing about child development and learning, what is individually appropriate, and what is culturally important. The school describes itself as a busy, happy, noisy, nurturing, and creative place for children, with a whole-child approach that involves educators and parents working together. It is a Christ-centered school where this foundation is honored, nurtured, and celebrated, and it welcomes children of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. Safety and security measures include a Campus Security Team, secure building access, emergency preparedness drills, and up to date well-checks and immunizations. The program is part of the St. Luke’s family and specializes in appropriate early childhood education that prepares each child for the next step.
