The Cypress Creek FACE Summer Orchestra Camp Program includes summer orchestra camps that feature a 6th Grade Strings Camp and Summer Strings for 7th, 8th and 9th grade students. Students take part in workshops, master classes, collaborative concerts, special family concerts, and free children’s concerts as part of the program. The program also offers special student ticket prices connected to its activities.

Cypress Creek FACE’s mission is to enrich the community by presenting a wide array of performing artists and educational programs. Cypress Creek FACE presents national and international performing artists and provides master classes, free children’s concerts, summer orchestra camps, and college scholarships for local students. FACE works with local retirement communities, nursing homes and senior groups to provide programming and an opportunity for socialization. Since the 2000–2001 season, the Children’s Series has been underwritten by The Centrum Arts League, which allows Cypress Creek FACE to invite all to attend the concerts free. The Centrum Arts League is the official guild that supports Cypress Creek FACE and raises funds each year to sponsor the Free Children’s Series, the Focus on Education scholarships, the Summer Camp program, and to help fund the FACE operating budget. In the early 1990s Cypress Creek Christian Church decided to build a new sanctuary, and FACE concerts began in November of 1997. When Hurricane Harvey hit the Houston region in August 2017, the buildings within the Cypress Creek Christian Church complex and surrounding area were flooded, and renovations were completed in October 2021. FACE currently has three concert series—Star-Lit!, Promenade, and Children’s—and a Summer Camp program.
