Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts Academy offers Pre-School Martial Arts, Kids Martial Arts, and Adult Martial Arts, along with Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Judo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Conditioning. The academy includes a Kids Jiu-jitsu Program that teaches Respect, Discipline, Focus, Teamwork, Dedication, and Perseverance, and offers tailored programs for all ages and abilities, including individuals with special needs. Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts Academy was founded in 2005. The academy was founded by 5th degree black belt Professor Travis Tooke, who received his black belt in December of 2005 from Carlos Gracie, Jr. Professor Travis Tooke is the Founder and Instructor/Owner and a Master Instructor. The academy has over 300 students and is described as one of the most recognized and respected martial arts academies in Texas, with technical instruction described as world class. Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts has one of the most complete MMA systems in Texas, and its Muay Thai Kickboxing classes are aimed at self-defense and fitness and are described as burning 800 calories an hour. The academy is described as a sanctuary where mind, body and spirit will be tested, molded and transformed.
The mission of Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts Academy is to continue to create strong minded students who will take responsibility for themselves and confidently serve their families and communities.
