Hutto Parks and Recreation Programs include camps, athletic leagues, special gatherings, and classes offered through the Parks and Recreation Department. The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to increase the quality of life and well-being of residents through parks, trails, events, athletic leagues, and programs. In 2025, the Parks and Recreation Department earned the Autism Certified Center designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), which is awarded to organizations that complete specialized training and certification in autism awareness, sensory needs, and inclusive service practices. Through this designation, Hutto is part of a network of communities focused on accessibility and understanding, and the City of Hutto states a commitment to expanding inclusive initiatives. The department’s leadership team includes Anna Rodriguez, Executive Management Assistant, and Jeffrey White, Director of Parks and Recreation.
