Youth & Family Programs at Irving Arts Center include stories and art, art projects, and creative story time that combines art and children’s literature. The program also offers take-home art projects, guided gallery tours, and self-guided tours.

• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Ongoing monthly and weekly options, including weekday morning story time, a monthly Saturday guided gallery tour, and regular gallery hours Tuesday–Saturday in the afternoon

Irving Arts Center offers JumpstART Stories & Art on the first Thursday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Free guided gallery tours are offered the first Saturday of every month at 2:00 pm, and self-guided tours may be taken at any time during gallery hours. Galleries are free to view and are open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5:00 pm. Lunch & Learn is a free monthly in-person program held on the first Tuesday of the month from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Irving Arts Center is a Smithsonian-affiliated visual and performing arts facility with two fully-equipped theaters, five galleries with rotating exhibitions, meeting, classroom, reception and rehearsal facilities, and a verdant sculpture garden. Irving Arts Center is committed to maintaining an environment that nourishes respect for the dignity of each community member. Irving Arts Center is a home for the arts, housing ten resident arts organizations whose programs serve the community.
