About
Lone Star Leadership Academy is an overnight academic leadership summer camp where participants spend a week engaged in fun, learning, leadership development, and visits to unique and historically significant Texas destinations. The program includes travel to Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio, or Houston/Galveston with visits to significant Texas sites. Participants who are Lone Star Leader Nominees also have access to monthly, live, online leadership and character-building lessons, and camp alumni continue leadership development through the school year.

Education in Action, the organization behind Lone Star Leadership Academy, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people to be informed and active leaders in their communities. Monthly, live, online leadership and character-building lessons are offered exclusively for Lone Star Leader Nominees. Optional round-trip charter bus transportation from Dallas/Fort Worth to the Austin/San Antonio and Houston/Galveston camps is available, and the Dallas/Fort Worth location has a day option.
