Bay Area Arts Conservatory

Bay Area Arts Conservatory offers classes in dance, musical theatre, acting, and voice. Students can take classes that include ballet, tap, jazz, and creative movement. The program includes options such as Twinkle Babies, Twinkle Stars, Broadway Babies, and ShowStars, each with specific focuses in dance and musical theatre.

• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: A forty-five minute introductory dance class containing ballet, tap and creative movement for Twinkle Babies, and an hour long class containing ballet, tap and jazz/creative movement for Twinkle Stars.

The mission of Bay Area Arts Conservatory is to foster creative development through student education and training in the performing arts for a lifetime of success. The program offers dance and theatre classes for toddlers, kids, and teens from multiple nearby communities, including League City, Clear Lake, Friendswood, Dickinson, Pearland, Seabrook, and Webster. Its instruction is curriculum based to ensure consistency for all students, and classes are described as small and very Covid-19 conscious. Families can get a free trial class, and new students can try a class for free.

One parent, Taylor Luamba, described the staff as professional and friendly and noted that the studio area was clean, had hand sanitizer available, and that her daughter enjoyed the environment and the staff. Another parent, Stephanie Seymour, described the classes as small, very Covid-19 conscious, and stated that the teachers and staff know the students and care about their progress.
