Camp Bluegrass is a one-week residential educational picking camp for bluegrass musicians that includes guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, vocal, songwriting, dobro, and fiddle instruction. The program offers songwriting classes, special sound reinforcement workshops, traditional slow jam sessions, master classes for each instrument, faculty concerts, nightly jams, and vocal instruction. At Camp Bluegrass 2026, Bryan Kimsey is teaching instrument setup and improvisation for beginners on all instruments, with 12 vintage Martin D18 guitars from 1938 to 1953 available for participants to play.
