Since 2007, DFW SURF has helped pioneer stand up paddle boarding and wake surfing and is described as the original Wake Surf School. The program’s leadership includes DFW Surf founder Tyler Marshall and a team of athletes such as top wake surfers Ashley Kidd and Parker Payne and SUP racers like Nate Richard and Tyler Marshall. In 2011, Tyler Marshall, Don Anderson, and Mike Kekoa created the DFW Surf Club, which offers unlimited paddleboard, kayak, and bike usage, unlimited classes and tours, weekly surfing, member parties, discounts on gear, and a bring-a-friend-for-free option. The DFW Surf Club was created to unite paddlers and surfers in a Hawaiian-like community and continues to introduce new people to lake life, a sense of community, and peace of mind on the water. DFW SURF is rated 5 stars on Google and has produced some of the first wake surf specific summer camps.
