About

Lazy Acres Summer Day Camp gives campers time to explore a nature trail, feed the farm animals, and go fishing at the property pond. Campers can take a dip in the pool, enjoy organized team building games, and play on inflatables. They also visit the barn to meet friends like Montana the miniature horse, Otis the rescue pig, bunnies that are mostly Easter rescues, a goat family with a playground, chickens that lay farm fresh eggs, and ducks living in the pond, and they can feed the animals at the viewing zoo and explore other activities.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: 8 week summer day camp program with unique weekly themes

Lazy Acres Summer Day Camp is a Christian based indoor and outdoor summer day camp for school age children, with unique themed weeks of indoor and outdoor Christian based fun. The camp is part of Lazy Acres, which also hosts company picnics and boutique events and includes the SG Farmhouse at Lazy Acres indoor boutique event facility.

Lazy Acres was established in 1980 and has been in business for over 30 years. The property was turned into an event space over 30 years ago. Sharla Martinez and her husband Ray Martinez purchased Lazy Acres in 2001, after roughly 15 years from establishment, and Sharla started what is now Lazy Acres Summer Day Camp. Sharla and Ray Martinez have been married for 45 years.

Lazy Acres invites local children to come to their day camp. One testimonial from Sharla Martinez describes how she and her husband enjoy gathering family, friends, and guests at Lazy Acres, watching children and grandchildren enjoy the property, and seeing guests relax, create memories, and have fun, and she notes that the Lazy Acres Day Camp invites local children to come, have an adventure, and make new friends. Another testimonial simply states, “I love Lazy Acres Summer Camp!”
