• Schedule: Facility hours include weekday and weekend options, with Bush Tennis Center open Monday–Friday from 8:00am–9:00pm and Saturday–Sunday from 8:00am–5:00pm, and Chris Davidson Opportunity Park open Monday–Sunday from 9:00am–8:00pm; fall hours include Bush Tennis Center Monday–Friday from 7:00am–10:00pm and Saturday–Sunday from 7:00am–4:00pm, and Chris Davidson Opportunity Park Monday–Sunday from 8:00am–9:00pm.
Bush Tennis Center is described as the premier community tennis center of Texas and is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. The Bush Tennis Center mission states that it exists to provide everyone the opportunity to experience the game of tennis, regardless of physical, financial or geographical barriers. BTC hosts high school, college, and professional events throughout the year. Through the BUSH|WIKSE Outreach Scholarship program and mobile outreach initiatives, Bush Tennis Center has brought tennis programs to children in the Permian Basin and surrounding areas. President George W. Bush spoke at the grand opening of the Bush Tennis Center, stating, “Tennis is not only a game, but it can teach you life lessons; it can teach people how to handle bad bounces in life and the importance of rules and bounds.”
