COM Aquatics offers learn to swim lessons, swim and dive prep classes, competitive dive teams, competitive swim teams, and a recreational swim league. The program also offers summer camps, holiday camps, aquatic therapy, water aerobics, deep-water aerobics, shallow-water aerobics, water walking in a warm water pool, water Tai Chi classes, masters swimming groups, physical therapy, massage therapy, a dance fitness class, and yoga.

COM Aquatics is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. It operates multiple pools, dryland gyms, fitness and therapy spaces, and a comprehensive learn to swim department, and it includes the largest physical therapy clinic in the area. The COM Physical Therapy Center employs four Physical Therapists and two Physical Therapy Assistants with over 80 years of combined therapy experience. Over 700 athletes are enrolled in children’s programs, and over 1,500 adult members participate in various fitness programs. COM is open to all members of the community and offers comprehensive fitness programs for almost everyone. COM has hosted numerous local, state, and national events that have had significant economic impact on the Midland community. Fifty years ago (1967), a group of Midland parents established what is now COM Aquatics, Inc., and its facilities and programs have expanded over time, including the opening of the Mabee Memorial Aquatic Center in 1972, additional pools and centers in 1993, 2000, and 2007, and the FMH Foundation Natatorium in 2016. In 2018, COM’s physical therapy department will provide over 10,000 physical therapy visits.
