GTG Outdoors Programs offers activities such as Family Campout, Parent's Night Out, and several family camp outs including Mother Neff Family Camp Out, Meridian Family Camp Out, and UBC Community Campout. The program also includes day trips like the Fort Parker Day Trip and Dinosaur Valley Day Trip, as well as larger experiences such as the Grand Canyon Backpacking Trip, the Enchanted Rock Inks Lake Climbing Trip, and the Mission Waco Youth Trip. GTG Outdoors Programs also runs a Summer Camp and events such as A Night Under The Stars Gala and Mother Neff Service and Skills.

GTG Outdoors Programs states a mission to inspire and empower diverse communities to engage in outdoor recreation and conservation activities. The program offers outdoor education through the Wilderness Education Association’s standards, and its community can learn the fundamentals of outdoor living and responsible ecological stewardship through the W.E.A.'s 6+1 curriculum. Using knowledge gained from local stakeholders, the program dismantles barriers to access within its programs and to local natural spaces. The program describes a vision of access to outdoor adventure experiences for all individuals and families, with an emphasis on family engagement, stewardship of the outdoors, fostering leadership, and compassion for all.
