NYTEX Youth Hockey and Skating Programs offers activities that include DSMHL House Hockey, Texans Hockey Academy, Texan Hockey Academy House Pre-Fall Skills Camp for 6u–16u, NYTEX Summer Sports Camp, and Ice Hockey. The program also offers Learn To Skate classes, Public Skate sessions, Mini-Mites & Jr. Bruisers, Pro-Time private hockey lessons, an Adult League, volleyball, and options for parties and events.
• Schedule: Open hours are 7am–11pm, with front desk hours Monday–Friday from 10am–9pm and Saturday–Sunday from 8am–10:30pm; the Texan Hockey Academy House Pre-Fall Skills Camp for 6u–16u runs July 25th–August 8th; Adult League game times are Thursdays at 7:30pm and 9:00pm; Pro-Time begins Sunday, September 20 at 11am; the Adult League season includes a 9-game regular season plus two playoff games, for 11 total games.
• Price: CHILLER party package is $349 and includes admission and rental for up to ten kids, use of the party suite for one session, a quarter sheet personalized cake, two large pizzas, and three pitchers.
The program uses the Learn to Skate USA program, which is the official beginner skating program endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, and US Speedskating. Leadership and management roles include Owner and President Frank Trazzera, Owner Salvatore Trazzera, Director of Hockey Programs Knute Anderson, Director of Ice Skating, Learn To Skate and Brahmas Billet Coordinator Morgan Bell, Controller/Finance Rick Mulrain, Director of Summer Camp Joey Trazzera, NYTEX Rink Manager Beth Zeoli, President of the Texas Brahmas Youth Hockey Association Chad Siewert, Rink Operations Manager Glenn DeCicco, Hockey Programs Manager Connor Morrison, NAHL Lone Star Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong, ZuRoma Sicilian Kitchen representatives Scott Plourde and Ricardo Rivera, NYTEX Box Office Manager and Director of Ticketing Robert Fatta, NYTEX Shop Manager Jeremy Allen, and Media and Communications Director Torre Trazzera. Pro-Time ice is available for private hockey lessons with a coach, and full gear is required. The facility also includes the NYTEX Embroidery Shop, which offers embroidery for team or company logos, names, numbers, jackets, backpacks, hoodies, lettering services, and more, and hosts more than 15 House Hockey teams competing in the Dallas Stars Metro Hockey League.
