About
Academy of Dance Palestine offers dance classes that include ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and turns and leaps. Dancers can also participate in a competition team and a performance company that build on these class styles.

• Schedule: Weekly classes offered August through May, with class times available Monday–Thursday afternoons and early evenings, and Saturday mornings
Academy of Dance Palestine is a fourth generation dance studio, and its dance family ranges from Lil Stars through a highly competitive dance team. The studio offers several different programs depending on age and prior dance experience, and accepts ages 2 and up for classes. Teachers focus on technique geared toward dancers’ goals, and all teachers are educated in ballet terminology, have attended dance conventions, and have trained in all forms of dance for many years. The studio states that it offers the best training and most qualified teachers. The mission of Academy of Dance Palestine is to enrich the lives of students through movement and music, create a positive and motivating environment where students can achieve their best through hard work and dedication, and use dance to help students develop strong self esteem while learning physically and mentally, with the goal that students believe they can accomplish whatever they put their mind and effort to. The studio is described as a home away from home for dancers, with a focus on building self-confidence and nurturing life-long friendships.
The studio has an award winning competition team, and dancers have received scholarships to more conventions, Overall High Points for groups, Top Tap, and High Point Soloist awards. Company dancers take extra classes year round, and there are optional opportunities to travel to Dallas, Houston, or Austin for conventions such as Tremaine Dance Conventions and Streetz. Community is described as a huge part of the performance company, and performance company dancers perform in the Palestine Hot Pepper Festival, are part of the Dogwood Trails as well as the Christmas Parade, and compete at local competitions such as Synergy. According to one parent, “Whether you are looking for a studio to take your two year old to on a Saturday, or your twelve year old that wants to compete dance on a highly competitive level, or any level in between…this is the place for your child.”
