Texas Tumbling and Trampoline Institute (3TI) – Kid Excel After-School Program, Classes & Camps offers after-school child care, an after-school program, trampoline classes, tumbling classes, preschool gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, private lessons, cheer classes, ninja, and general gymnastics. The program also offers camps, clinics, summer day camp, holiday camps, group games, trampoline fun, time in a huge foam pit, and use of an inflatable obstacle course. Families can schedule birthday parties and other parties, and the birthday party package includes group games, trampoline fun, a huge foam pit, an inflatable obstacle course, and more.

Texas Tumbling and Trampoline Institute (3TI), Inc. is owned by Bill and Lisa Gandy. The business opened on September 1, 2001 and relocated to its present facility in December of 2005. The program states that its goal is to teach children the necessary skills to achieve their highest goals and to provide a positive influence in their life’s journey through kindness, integrity, devotion and success. The program describes itself as the most active after-school program in the Paris area, with the Kid Excel After-School Program teaching gymnastics, ninja, and more, and describes its after-school program as AWESOME and its summer day camp as AMAZING and ACTIVE. It offers year round enrollment, offers after-school pick up and/or full day care when children are off school, picks up on early release days and keeps children until 5:30pm, and hosts fun holiday camps and single day camps when school is out. The gym is closed for regular classes on Saturdays but remains open for scheduled birthday parties, and on Sundays it is closed except for special-request birthday parties. The program offers discounted rates for each additional class a child signs up for and hosts birthday parties, clinics, and camps, and it states a belief that if a child is having fun, they will learn better. The program states that it is proudly serving Lamar and surrounding counties.

Lisa and Bill Gandy both have achieved a MASTER OF SPORT coaching level in USA Gymnastics and have both earned a Master of Sport with the USA Gymnastics University, which is described as the highest level a coach can achieve. The Gandy’s are both Physical Therapists. Bill received his coaching degree from Sam Houston State University followed by a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in 1987. Lisa is a former collegiate gymnast and national floor exercise champion who earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1987 and was the first gymnast inducted into the Texas Woman’s University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. Lisa currently serves as Co-Chair of the USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Elite Education Committee.

The program reports that Lisa and Bill currently have 24 national champions, 4 World Medals and 6 International Titles, and that they have 20 National Champions and have coached 4 others to the elite level earning 3 more international titles and 2 more World Age Group medals. They first coached their daughter Sarah, who earned a classification as an official World Class Gymnast by the Federation of International Gymnastics, won 6 national titles, 3 international titles, a bronze medal in the World Age Group Competition, and another bronze medal as a member of the Sr. Elite National Team at the World Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since then, they have progressed six more athletes to the elite level in 9 events and have been part of the national coaching staff for Team USA at the Canada Cup, CanAm Cup, Pan American Championships and two World Age Group Competitions.
