Kids Depot of Otay Ranch

Kids Depot of Otay Ranch is a Child Development Center for young children that offers a curriculum that helps children discover their potential. The program follows a whole child concept, respects each child as an individual, and stimulates a child’s natural interest in, and enjoyment of, learning. It offers “when you need it” hourly drop-in childcare service for families who need flexible, spontaneous care.

• Ages: 0–5 years old

The center offers an Infant Program that meets the needs of very young children and their families, as well as a Toddler Program for children 12–36 months that is planned to meet the needs of very young children and their families. Its educational philosophy is supported by curriculum, teachers, families, and parents involved in the program, who serve as role models for children. Preparing children to succeed in school is stated as a main goal. The program’s mission is to create a safe and nurturing childcare program that offers children an opportunity to grow and develop while having fun, with a stated commitment to success, a family atmosphere, and aiming for excellence. The center also states a goal of creating a partnership with parents to support the care children receive while at the center.
