About
Future Explorers Academy offers full-time, part-time, and before and after-school programs that use the Teaching Strategies Curriculum. The program includes ASL instruction in infant and toddler classrooms to assist children in communicating their needs, Spanish instruction, and potential additional language courses depending on parent interest. Children have access to two large playgrounds, gardens where they can learn how food is made, and a monarch butterfly garden, and they are provided with nap cots with sheets and a blanket that are laundered by staff rather than nap mats on the floor.

Fees: Initial Registration Fee $250; Annual Re-registration $175; Registration Fee for Before / Afterschool $140; Registration Fee for Summer Camp $100; Annual Supply Fee $250; Annual Supply Fee for Before / After School $120. The cost of the part-time program is $150 off the child’s monthly tuition rate. A 10% credit is applied to the additional sibling’s tuition costs for full-time enrolled children. A tuition discount of 10% is applied for first responder families including nurses, for full-time enrolled children. A tuition discount of 10% is applied for families who are teachers in Alvin ISD, Angleton ISD, Brazosport ISD, and Pearland ISD, for full-time enrolled children. To reserve a child’s spot, the supply fee is $450 per child for full-time enrollment and $175 per child for before/after school enrollment.
Future Explorers Academy provides full-time students with a healthy breakfast, lunch, and up to three snacks daily, and provides breakfast and snacks to before and after-school students, with a chef preparing these meals and snack options. Explorers wear uniforms from 3 years of age to the Kinder Readiness classroom, and uniforms are purchased through the program’s application and delivered to the school. Parents do not need to provide nap mats, because nap cots with sheets and a blanket are provided and laundered by staff. Future Explorers Academy uses secure live streaming cameras for parents through PB&JTV and offers a Parents App that gives access to children’s daily activities, cameras, and interaction with teachers. The program states that it believes it is imperative to maintain lower teacher-student ratios so teachers are not overwhelmed and can provide individualized care. The part-time program allows parents to choose three days of the week for attendance from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, is offered only when a child reaches 3 years of age, and each classroom from 3 years to Kinder Readiness has only two part-time slots.
All applicants to become a teacher at Future Explorers Academy must have a minimum of 3 years of early childhood education experience, a CDA is preferred, references are verified, and applicants must pass a fingerprint and background check. The program’s mission statement is that at Future Explorers Academy, they feel it is imperative to have the most innovative curriculum to provide to their explorers. Future Explorers Academy offers school pick up and before and after school pick up from Meridiana Elementary, Bel Nafegar Sanchez Elementary, and Bennet Elementary School starting August 2024. The program operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with drop off beginning at 6:00 am and the last pick up at 6:30 pm.
