Many camps include themed experiences such as Moana Moves and Maui Grooves, Barbie’s Perfectly Pink Pajama Party (jazz, hip hop and ballet), Princess Academy Camp (ballet), Frozen Friends Dance Camp, Hakuna Matata Dance Camp, Fairytale Enchantment Camp, Magical Mermaids Camp (ballet basics and creative movement), Bluey’s Ballet Camp, Encanto's Enchanted Camp (ballet, tap and creative movement), and Inside Out Camp, along with arts and crafts.
• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Thursday, 3:30–7:00pm
The Dance Spot Youth Programs follows a nut-free studio policy, and students are asked to bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and snack for camps. Camps are taught by professional, experienced teachers, and the instructors have backgrounds in dance. The program offers a low student to teacher ratio with help from assistants in camps, and specific dance attire and shoes are not required for camps. Extended care is available after half-day camps that end at 1pm for enrolled half-day campers, and tiny dancer camps include a performance at the end of the week. The Dancers & Dreamers program is designed expressly for imaginative 2–5 year olds, and a free trial class is available. Summer 2025 registration is now open.
The stated mission of The Dance Spot Youth Programs is to empower all ages and abilities to discover their spark through high-quality performing arts training, meaningful mentorship, and a community that feels like home. The program has a Google rating score of 4.6 out of 5 based on 27 reviews. One parent notes that the staff is knowledgeable on many types of dance and describes the studio as structured regarding hair and dance gear. Another parent with a background as a professional dancer describes the teachers as very nice, mentions Ms. Lisa as a sweet teacher who keeps class going with 2–3 year olds, and highlights that two-year-olds are not forced to wear tap shoes if they do not want to. Other reviewers describe the space as beautiful and clean, the staff as friendly and attentive, and the competition team as one of the best they have seen. The program also hosts events such as trunk or treat and is described in one review as “super organizado y precavido” with very attentive and friendly staff.
