Palo Alto College Youth Summer Camp includes creative play, artwork, sports, STEM Camp, Coding Camp, and other hands-on activities and labs. Campers can take part in topics such as Biology, Sports Medicine, Animal Science, Robotics, Engineering, Health Professions, and Dental Hygiene. Sports options include basketball, volleyball, mixed sports, and Basketball and Volleyball Prospect Clinics with position-specific drills and competitive play.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Middle school camps offer morning sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., a lunch break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and afternoon sessions from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; high school camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.; Youth Sports Clinics run as half-day sessions, including Basketball clinics on July 14–15 and July 28–29 from 1–5:30 p.m. and Volleyball clinics on July 7–8 and July 21–22 from 1–5:30 p.m.
The program includes Palomino Adventure Youth Camp for ages 5–7 as a full-day option, Youth Sports Clinics for ages 8–13 as half-day options, and PAC Athletics Summer Prospect Camps for ages 14–19. Youth Summer Camp activities are described as focusing on discovery, innovation, and fun with hands-on activities, and they offer an opportunity for students entering grades 6 through 12 to engage in enriching experiences over the summer break. PAC Athletics Summer Prospect Camps are tailored for athletes ages 14–19 and are described as designed to help boost recruitment chances and to allow participants to train like a college athlete, led by the head coaches of Palo Alto College.
