About
The DoSeum Youth Programs include hands-on activities along with special event offerings such as mechanical bull rides, a petting zoo, live music, and themed food and drink vendors. These programs take place within a children's museum setting that features interactive exhibits for exploring the wonders of science and math and diving into the world of art and literacy. The DoSeum Youth Programs also connect to other offerings at the museum, including Free Family Night events and Adult Nite events with Neon Cowboy and Wild West themes.

The organization states that its mission is that the adventure of learning never ends and that it believes in the power of play to spark curiosity and ignite imaginations, with hands-on experiences that empower families to explore, create, and discover together. The DoSeum is a proud member of the ASTC and ACM reciprocal networks and offers a Digital DoSeum Membership Card for access to The DoSeum and hundreds of other museums nationwide, along with membership benefits such as Members-Only hour every Sunday, quarterly Members-Only events, discounts and early registration for camps, classes, and workshops, a Circles Society philanthropic membership, and various discounts on birthday parties, the on-site bakery, store purchases, and locker rentals. One event in these programs is presented by The DoSeum’s community partner Shiner.
Parent feedback about The DoSeum includes comments that exhibits are interactive and that activities support creative imagination play for children of all ages and abilities. One parent, Lena Jones, described visiting with a 2-year-old who enjoyed playing in the little town and noted that staff were consistently resetting toys and props and were “so swift and sweet.” Another parent, Sarah R., highlighted that there were many ranges of activities and that the space was accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and other ranges of ability, with things marked appropriately. A third parent, Lesslie De la Torre, stated that it was “a really great experience” and that her kids “had a blast.”
