The leadership team for these programs includes the Parks & Recreation Director, Recreation Supervisor Alejandro Lopez, Administrative Clerk Angelica Cano, Recreation Assistant I Christine Soto, Parks Superintendent Nick Salazar, Assistant Director Ramiro Moreno, and Building Maintenance Supervisor Ruben Martinez. The department staff organize community events, maintain and improve recreational facilities and programs, preserve natural spaces, and work to keep parks safe and well maintained, with the stated aim of fostering a sense of community, promoting active lifestyles, and creating spaces where residents of all ages can connect, play, and thrive.
