Camp Zephyr offers activities that include a challenge course, pool time, paintball, and a tomahawk range. The program takes place at Zephyr Baptist Encampment, which is a Christian Camp & Conference Center, and its focus is to point participants and their groups towards Christ by giving them tools to forge deeper, more intentional relationships. The camp emphasizes experiencing personal growth through what it describes as the ultimate outdoor experience and holds the belief that camp can be one of the most powerful and transformative times in a young person’s life. The staff at Camp Zephyr desire that each person who comes through the gates will feel the love of Christ through friendly service, well maintained facilities, quality meals, and attention to detail.
The goal of Zephyr Baptist Encampment is to provide an environment that encourages development in spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical areas. It was founded in 1957 by a group of individuals and churches who had a passion for Christ and a desire to see Him work through camp ministry.
