About
Summer Camp at Casa Mare includes activities such as animal track casting, archery, canoeing, fishing, bird watching, boat and ship watching, and wildlife observation. Campers have access to a basketball court, volleyball, a swimming pool, a playground, and age-specific sailing where they can learn beginner sailing skills and advance their sailing skills. The program also includes stargazing, STEM activities, and outdoor skills.
Casa Mare’s bayside paradise is described as offering a wide variety of camp activities for ocean lovers and science explorers. Girls staying at Casa Mare live in dormitories with 12 to 24 campers, and girls are assigned units based on their session, with units assigned based on how many girls are in a session. Campers gather in a climate-controlled galley/lodge for meals and all-camp assemblies, and this galley also houses craft and activity rooms and a display from the camp's rich history. The Casa Mare dorms are climate-controlled buildings with a connected bathroom. Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, which runs the camp, is a 501(c)(3) organization.
