CentriKid Camps is an overnight program where kids take part in Bible Study, Worship, Recreation, and Track Times. From Morning Worship to Bible Study, Recreation, and Track Times, every part of camp uses these specific activities throughout the day. The camp experience is rooted in biblical teachings, and God’s Word is the focus of every part of camp, including fun activities.
• Ages: 7–12 years old
• Schedule: Overnight sessions with two different lengths available, 3-day and 5-day
CentriKid Camps is an overnight camp for church groups to bring 2nd–6th graders to experience camp and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ. The camp experience is created for 2nd–6th graders, and programming keeps kids engaged throughout the entire day based on what is known about their ability to learn and comprehend truths about God at a certain age. Adults from each group provide supervision during transitions, meals, in housing areas, and during corporate gatherings, and groups are asked to bring leaders to meet a 1–5 adult-to-camper ratio, gender specific. The program focuses on safety in programming, relationships, and at host locations, and the environment is set up for kids to deepen relationships with leaders and peers. The 3-day camp is described as a way to see camp in a shorter amount of time and experience all the fun, and it is noted that campers are only one day away from OMC.
CentriKid staffers are young adults with a passion for hanging out with kids and sharing Christ through everything they do, and they are trained and equipped to lead all programming and activities. The leadership team includes Henry Dutton, Justin Barton, Brian Wood, Micheal Walley, Tiffany Francis, Jeremy Echols, Alli Brown, Kayla Figueroa, Maggie Gomez, Anna VanBlaricum, and Coulter Clement, who have served in roles such as summer staffer, Camp Pastor, Camp Director, Recreation Director, Worship Leader, Office Team, Program Specialist, and members of the CentriKid HQ team. CentriKid Camps is a ministry of Lifeway.
