About
Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County offers programming for children and teens during the school year, on non-school days, and in the summer. The program includes life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, along with ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals. It is committed to providing a safe place for youth to learn and grow.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday during the school year from 3 pm–6:30 pm, with early-out days from 1 pm–6:30 pm, non-school days from 7:30 am–5:30 pm, and summer hours from 7:30 am–5:30 pm
• Price: Annual membership fee of $25 per member (maximum $50 per family); school year activity fee of $20 per month (maximum $40 per family); summer activity fee of $10 per week (maximum $20 per family)
The program requires that members ages 5–18 be enrolled in kindergarten and provide a copy of a birth certificate. Since its founding in 1964, the Club has grown from one site to over 29 sites in 9 communities across Central Texas. The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Its local vision is to provide all youth a solid foundation that prepares them for a successful future, and its broader vision is to provide a world-class Club experience that keeps members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship and living a healthy lifestyle. The Club is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas, Inc., which serves 21,000 youth annually and 3,200 youth per day in 30 Club sites throughout the region, including several other named Boys & Girls Clubs. Administrative support at this Club includes an Administrative Assistant, Ms. Phyllis Shaw.
