AlphaBEST Before and After School Programs – Little Elm ISD offers daily enrichment that includes coding, robotics, art, drama, Spanish, Mandarin, sign language, fitness and sports, and engineering and maker activities. The program also includes digital animation, engineering projects, sports, LEGO robotics, creative arts such as newspaper and playwriting, and additional foreign language activities.
• Schedule: Hours 6:30 a.m. to start of school and from dismissal to 6:30 p.m.
• Price: 2026/2027 Weekly Rates - Before School: 1 day per week $23.00; 2 days per week $29.00; 3 days per week $42.00; 4 days per week $42.00; 5 days per week $47.00. After School: 1 day per week $26.00; 2 days per week $42.00; 3 days per week $58.00; 4 days per week $63.00; 5 days per week $66.00. Before and After School: 1 day per week $37.00; 2 days per week $58.00; 3 days per week $89.00; 4 days per week $97.00; 5 days per week $100.00. Every student in the program participates in enrichment activities every day at no additional charge, along with snacks, homework help, recreation, and student-choice clubs. The daily schedule includes homework time, snacks, outdoor play, the program’s signature enrichment curriculum, and student-choice clubs. A daily snack is provided, and students may bring their own nut-free snacks from home; all surfaces are cleaned before and after snack, and students wash hands before eating.
AlphaBEST Education has been providing before and after school programs since 2005 and currently serves approximately 30,000 students in 17 states. It is a family-owned business and states that it takes pride in relationships with students, parents, district staff, its own staff, and local communities. AlphaBEST employs a Tiered System of Supports called Creating Connected Communities, in which students participate in building the foundation for the after-school community by discussing the importance of their community, the rules, and respecting and welcoming each other. AlphaBEST states that it believes in creating learning environments where all children are welcome, including children with special needs, and staff receive special training to support children with special needs in enrichment activities.
Staff are described as experienced, caring, and licensed, and AlphaBEST states that all staff pass fingerprinted background checks and complete an extensive training program on operating a safe and inclusive program. Staff are trained in emergency procedures and drills that align with each school and district, and are trained in first aid including CPR, airborne illnesses, and epi-pen administration.
