A state-of-the-art studio opened in 1999 on Research Forest, and the studio has been growing dancers in The Woodlands since 1984. The facility is described as a 15,000 square foot space with seven separate classrooms with viewing windows for parents, dressing rooms, a dance boutique, and Café Tutu, and Boni’s employs a family of 50 teachers and staff.
Boni’s Dance & Performing Arts Studio offers three pre-professional and performance groups: the pre-professional ballet company Boni’s En Avant, the performance team Boni’s En Stage, and the competitive dance company Boni’s En Toure. The Woodlands Dance Company performs the annual Nutcracker to raise funds for local charities, and the program presents annual Nutcracker performances and a Nutcracker Tea Party during the holiday season, along with an End of year Recital during the spring. The studio offers many Camps and Intensives in the summer and Pre-Cotillion during the year, and its class schedule by studio includes 25/26 Fall and 25 Summer schedules.
A Google review notes that one family’s daughter has danced at Boni’s for 15 years and their son for 6 years, and that every teacher they have had has been excellent. The program information footer states ©2025. The mission statement for Boni’s Dance & Performing Arts Studio states that it is their vision to make each child’s experience enjoyable as they explore dance for fun, exercise or for professional training, and that they have made it their mission to develop each student to the fullest potential by nurturing them in a positive and loving atmosphere. The mission statement also describes dance as a way of life that develops poise, discipline and personal fulfillment, as well as appreciation of dance as an art form, and states that dance is hard work, striving and achieving goals, and that a dancer is an athlete of the arts.
