YMCA Camp Cullen offers summer resident camp, Teen Adventure Camp, Leaders In Training, and Counselor in Training. It also offers specialty half day add-ons in Equestrian, Challenge Course, Drama, Science, and Watersports, along with Family Camp, Retreats, Riding Club, Equestrian Specialty Camp, Watersports Specialty Camp, and Teen Specialty Camps.

About the provider

YMCA Camp Cullen is approaching its 50th anniversary in Trinity, Texas. The leadership team includes Bobby Thomas as Executive Director, Chance Orton as Senior Program Director, Nancy Cortes as Outdoor Ed & Retreats Director, Cynthia Drake as Camp Business Director, Lauren Scott as Summer Camp Director, Bailey Teague as Equestrian Director, Heather Mansel as Food Service Director, and Anya Katz as Associate Equestrian Director. The staff have a collective experience of over 45 years in the industry.

Campers ages 7-17 are welcomed. Campers 13-15 can participate in Teen Adventure Camp. Campers 15-16 can participate in Leaders In Training. 17-year-old campers can become a Counselor in Training (CIT) and volunteer. Specialty half day add-ons are open to campers ages 9-16. Campers can be bunked with a friend from home if they are the same gender and age. The camp staff dispenses medications and the infirmary is always open. The camp recommends giving children the opportunity to enjoy camp without parental interruption.
