Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons offers Learn to Swim classes, Preschool swim classes, Parent Child swimming lessons, Private and Semi-private swim lessons, Springboard diving, Adult swimming lessons, a Fitness Swimmer class, and a Water Safety class. The Parent Child program is for infants 6 months old up to toddlers 3 years old, and Parent Child classes are designed to provide parents with knowledge and skills to orient their child to aquatic environments. Learn-to-Swim classes are taught by certified, knowledgeable and caring instructors, and Adult lessons are taught by South Davis Masters Coaches.

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekday sessions run in 25-minute classes over 2 weeks, with options on Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Thursday mornings and afternoons, and Saturday sessions run in 40-minute classes over 5 weeks; adult lessons meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings with beginner and intermediate time slots, and private lessons are scheduled monthly based on instructor availability.
• Price: Weekday and Saturday Learn to Swim and Adult Lessons sessions cost $41 for members, $46 for resident non-members, and $51 for non-resident non-members; Private Lessons cost $31 for members, $36 for resident non-members, and $41 for non-resident non-members; Semi-Private Lessons cost $46 for members, $51 for resident non-members, and $56 for non-resident non-members.

Swimming Lessons uses Red Cross certified swim instructors, and all Private swim lesson instructors are WSI certified. The South Davis Recreation District states that it is dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents and patrons through safe, quality programs and facilities that strengthen the individual, family and community. The South Davis Recreation District partners with local organizations, businesses, and stakeholders to enhance opportunities and resources to better serve its communities.
