Busy Bee Co. was created by April Stettler and Margie Peterson in 2019, and they opened their doors in February 2019. Busy Bee Co. is just starting its 6th year. April Stettler is the owner of Busy Bee Co. The program offers Tot’s Table for ages 3–6, Kids Foodie Class for ages 6–10, and T(w)een Foodie Class for ages 11–14, and a child must be potty trained to attend Tot’s Table. Busy Bee Co. offers cooking, sewing, and art classes for ages 3 and up, as well as adult sewing and watercolor classes, monthly pop-ups, and birthday parties. Each week of the summer has a theme, and children learn about other cultures as they create a dish from another country and learn about kitchen safety, how to follow directions, and cooking tips and tricks. Summer 2025 will have different recipes than the previous summer. Families signed up for multiple classes, or with multiple family members in a class, receive a $5 discount on tuition. No makeup classes are offered for missed summer classes, refunds are available up to 2 weeks before class starts excluding the $25 deposit, and cancellations made within 2 weeks of the class start date are non-refundable. Busy Bee Co. states that it believes in creating a fun, positive, educational environment that embraces creativity, builds confidence, and teaches life skills, and that its goal is to create a space for kids to gather, learn something new, and create something of value, and that it believes learning and fun go hand in hand. Busy Bee Co. has taught kids from all over Utah.
