Education Programs

Education Programs includes field trips for K-8 students, preschool programs for ages 3-5, homeschool naturalists, summer camps, community programs, outreach programs, teacher resources, and Informal Science Education Enhancement (iSEE). Activities include wildlife and nature games, crafts, stories, live animal introductions, hands-on outdoor lessons, and wildlife presentations.

Programs

• Field Trips for K-8 — K-8 · Give your students the wonderful opportunity to get outside the classroom walls this year and make connections with the natural world.
• Preschool Programs — 3-5 · Kneehigh Naturalist class; explores wildlife and nature through games, crafts, stories and live animal introductions. Hour-long program for preschoolers and their adult chaperones.
• Homeschool Naturalists — 12 week program with hands-on lessons taught outdoors at the Ogden Nature Center; spring and fall semesters available.
• Summer Camps — 2-12; Volunteens Program for 13-16; some family and adult camps · Age-specific camps. Kids and teens learn nature knowledge and participate outdoors.
• Community Programs — Classes for all ages.
• Outreach Programs — Wildlife presentations that travel to your school, community event or Eagle Court of Honor.
• Teacher Resources — K-12 students, teachers and parents · Free teacher professional development, teacher resources and virtual field trips.
• Informal Science Education Enhancement (iSEE) — K-12 · Programs serve K-12 teachers and students and are designed to spark natural curiosity and sense of wonder through science experiences.
