• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m., and Saturday, Noon–8 p.m.

The Huntington Community Center Afterschool Programs take place in a facility that includes a Multipurpose Room, a Game Room/Computer Lab, a billiard table, and a kitchen, with a building capacity set at 49 occupants. The program is part of a vibrant afterschool program for youth in grades 1 through 6. Chris Scales serves as Division Director. The center’s stated mission is that staff want families to feel like the Huntington Community Center is an extension of their home, as a place to connect with neighbors and friends. The Huntington Community Center also serves as a resource for residents of all ages and abilities, offers room rentals for special occasions, and serves as the local polling place for the surrounding community during election season. NCS Community Centers serve as warming and cooling centers during extreme weather events, and visitors using the center for warming or cooling services will not have access to community center programming or classes unless they are current registered members.
