WinShape Camps for Communities Day Camp offers a full day of structured activities that include Rec, Team Time, Village Rally, Snack City, Skill 1, Lunch, Worship, Skill 2, and Power Surge. Campers take part in age-specific activities that can include science, crafts, epic competition, outdoor adventure, and a wide variety of skills such as shooting an arrow, climbing a rock wall, playing basketball, singing songs, reading the Bible, rowing a canoe, and toasting a marshmallow. Daily worship includes music, prayer, and devotions.

WinShape Camps for Communities Day Camp runs a one-week session that offers a full day of non-stop activities and age-specific content, with a refreshed experience every year and a new theme each summer. Families provide lunch each day, and WinShape Camps provides snacks; meals and snack times are nut free, and snacks containing any type of nuts are returned to the camper at the end of the week. The program states that it is “nut-aware” and has limited nut exposure as much as possible.
WinShape Camps reports that over 30,000 campers participate each summer across more than 75 communities in the United States, Costa Rica, and Brazil, and that its day camps bring activities to local neighborhoods. WinShape Camps International works with partners and local leaders to offer locally led day camp experiences in Brazil and Costa Rica during the spring and summer.
According to the program, over 800 professionally trained Summer Staff represent about 100 different colleges and universities from more than 30 states. Each applicant goes through an extensive application process and a 30-minute face-to-face interview, and, once hired, completes a background check, safety training, and a week of intentional development from experts. The program states that each WinShape Camps staff member is a follower of Jesus Christ.
WinShape Camps reports that it has been creating camps for 40 summers, with its first overnight camp launched over 40 years ago on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and that it launched its first overnight camp in 1985. The organization states that its mission is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ.
