Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Programs and Activities include options such as Winter Stream Life, Nature DIY Valentines, Birdwatching, Family Outdoor Exploration, and Plants and Wildlife. The program also offers Birthday Parties, Campfires, Classes and Camps, Scouts activities, Field Trips, Outreach Programs, Historic Tours, and Events in the Park. Additional activities include ECLP On Your Own, Walking Tour - Historic Tour Map, Wagon Rides, and use of the park’s Trails, including Accessible Trails, the Cross County Trail, Bike Trails, Equestrian Trails, and QR Code Fitness Trails.

• Schedule: Walney Visitor Center open Monday and Wednesday–Friday 9–5 p.m., Saturday–Sunday 12–5 p.m.; trails, picnic tables, and grounds open dawn to dusk

Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Programs and Activities take place in a 650-acre park with forests, streams, meadows, and a pond, and the park’s history spans 8,000 years. The Walney Visitor Center includes exhibits on the natural and cultural history of the park, live reptiles and amphibians, and children’s hands-on activities, with pollinator gardens, a historic kitchen garden, and historic structures located outside. The program’s mission is stated as “Ellanor C. Lawrence Park: Preserving land, protecting resources.” The park’s leadership includes Kylie Lee, Manager, Ellanor C. Lawrence Park.
