Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) Sports Programs offers organized youth sports in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, field hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, soccer travel through Virginia Valor FC, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling. The programs use The Fieldhouse, which is owned and operated by CYA and run by professional staff members.
Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) has operated continuously since its start as Battlefield Little League in 1971, and in November 2003 the organization legally changed its name to the Chantilly Youth Association, Inc. CYA administers 12 different sports programs, with a Volunteer Sport Coordinator leading each program, and is run predominantly by volunteers. The organization reports over 12,000 annual participants across all sport programs and offers youth athletes the opportunity to play to their highest skill level in 12 sports. Its stated mission is that participation in youth athletics, health and fitness, and community involvement helps build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. United for CYA is the charitable outreach arm of Chantilly Youth Association, Inc., and offers members ways to provide aid and assistance in the form of sports equipment, uniforms, training and support, education, and charitable donations.
