Camp Levine is a three-week summer day camp where campers sing, dance, play instruments, explore visual art, and take part in musical theatre. The program includes creating visual art, a variety of games and activities, morning sings, and final performances as part of the camp experience.

Camp Levine describes its mission as nurturing the “total musical child,” with children developing skills for creative expression through singing, dancing, playing instruments, musical theatre, creating visual art, and games and activities. The camp states that it is for children of all musical backgrounds and skill levels and offers top-notch arts instruction in a safe, joy-filled, and collaborative environment, where campers learn new skills, gain confidence, and create lasting friendships. Camp Levine has been recognized in the Washington City Paper’s annual “Best of D.C.” issue as one of the “Best Summer Camps in D.C.” for the last seven years, and it has won the title of #1 Summer Camp every year from 2021 through 2025. Families have shared that scholarships have supported their children’s participation, that they value Levine’s focus on a love of music for all ages, and that the quality of instruction includes learning technique and theory.
