James Lee Community Center After School and Technology Programs offers intramural sports such as basketball, soccer, and flag football, along with open gym time for basketball or other activities. The program includes homework assistance, arts and crafts, cooking, socials and special events, project-based STEAM activities, the Clubhouse Network afterschool program, James Lee Robotics, and tech literacy and education programs covering topics from email and social media to coding and emerging technology. Participants also have access to self-guided workouts in the Fitness Center.

James Lee Community Center’s facility includes multi-purpose and meeting rooms, a game room, two gymnasiums, an arts and crafts room, a fitness center, a technology center, a therapeutic recreation classroom, and a community theatre. The center is described as a full-service community center, senior center, teen center, technology program, and community theatre in one facility, with technology programs for all ages and a therapeutic recreation classroom and sensory space access for participants of all abilities. The center’s mission states that it provides programs and activities for individuals of all ages and abilities, hosting community events and activities that give participants the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends, promote healthy lifestyles and have fun. James Lee Community Center is home to the James Lee Community Theatre, which features productions from local theatre and cultural groups, and NCS Community Centers serve as warming and cooling centers during extreme weather. The leadership team lists Chris Scales as Division Director.
