Rappahannock Area YMCA Youth Programs include swimming, youth sports, adult sports, and fitness and well-being activities. The program also offers after school care, summer camps, adult fitness, special needs programs, evidence-based wellness programs, waterpark parties, a Special Needs Splash family-friendly waterpark event, community-based service projects, live fitness classes, and daily activities for kids. Community projects include planning a food drive and contributing to a community garden.

The mission of Rappahannock Area YMCA Youth Programs is: “Through empowering young people, improving individual and community well-being, and inspiring action, we aim to create meaningful change in our community.” Community-based service projects include activities such as food drives and work in a community garden. The programs, classes, and services include options for all ages, abilities, and stages of life, with a focus on healthy aging and addressing multiple aspects of wellness for older adults. Special events, including fundraisers and family events, take place throughout the year, and the YMCA Waterpark hosts waterpark parties and the Special Needs Splash event.
The leadership team includes CEO Brandon Boles and Senior Vice President Meaghan Williams, along with directors and managers for finance, marketing and PR, community health and wellness, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and human resources. Childcare, aquatics, wellness, fitness, youth, racquet sports, special needs and special activities, membership, and events are led by named directors and managers such as Dottie Rhodes, Sydney Goode Harris, Andrew Yu, Ryan Wolff, Jillian Holmes, Erin Reiley, Clara LaMoy, Miriam Niemi, Heidi Gimmellie, Shelly Rose, Laureana Clift, Ann-Courtney Winfrey, Angela Williams, Johnte Hayden, Christine Mathews, Lewis Geter, Lauren Ordonez, Amy Chanmugam, Maxine Hathaway, Gayle Welch, Thomas Ellis, Melissa Taylor, Jamilla Perry, Tiffany Majeski, Seasun Newton, and Anysia Alhanati.
