Camp Eagle offers a super-fun week that is separated from the distractions of the world and is saturated in the Word of God. The camp uses the elements of Christian camping and encourages campers to come out of their comfort zones and experience unique and fun activities while learning how to make a difference in the world. Camp Eagle operates with entirely air-conditioned facilities, and every facility on the property has been renovated and updated.
Camp Eagle was established in 1982 and has been ministering to folks of all ages for more than 40 years through summer camps, retreats, and specialized group events. The camp operates its facilities during the winter, spring, and fall for ministry rentals, retreats, and special events, with the premiere event being the annual summer camp. Camp Eagle states that it strives to provide an environment free from daily distractions, pressures, and stress, and to use Christian camping to provide fun and fulfillment for the present, hope for the future, and to develop strong, impactful leaders who will turn the world upside down. Camp Eagle provides two staff members for every group of ten to twelve campers and takes time to get to know each camper and minister to them. Each staff member is carefully selected and interviewed extensively regarding their Christian walk, spiritual growth, attitude of service, and willingness to learn, and all staff submit to a federal background check, are rigorously trained, and are prepared to build relationships with campers.
