About
Hazelwild Farm Educational Foundation offers preschool, kindergarten, summer camp, and equestrian programs. On the farm, children have an opportunity to observe farm life and to learn in a unique operating horse farm environment. For nearly 70 years, generations of children and families have participated in programs at Hazelwild Farm.

Hazelwild Farm Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the academic and physical development of children and adults, in honor of Anna Elizabeth Morrison. Miss Morrison was a dairy farmer, public teacher, and coach. The organization has provided the Fredericksburg area with various educational program experiences for 45+ years and for nearly 70 years.
This project was made possible by a grant from The Fredericksburg Charitable Foundation of The Community Foundation. One parent described Hazelwild as “one of the few educational institutions in Fredericksburg that is tucked into nature” and noted that it offers partial week enrollment. Another parent described it as the “best place in Fredericksburg to send your child for early education” and mentioned that people who attended as children are now sending their own children.
