• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
Hazelwild Farm Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the academic and physical development of children and adults in honor of Anna Elizabeth “Miss” Morrison. Miss Morrison was a dairy farmer, public teacher, and coach who established the foundation to continue her career in education and care for children. The organization has provided educational program experiences in the Fredericksburg area for more than 45 years and for nearly 70 years. For nearly 70 years, generations of children have attended Hazelwild Farm for school, camps, and equestrian activities.
One project at Hazelwild Farm Educational Foundation was made possible by a grant from The Fredericksburg Charitable Foundation of The Community Foundation. A parent described Hazelwild as “one of the few educational institutions in Fredericksburg that is tucked into nature” and noted that it offers partial week enrollment options. Another parent called it the “best place in Fredericksburg to send your child for early education” and mentioned that people who attended as children are now sending their own children.
