Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events Summer Camps

Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events Summer Camps offers summer camp programs with registration handled through the department’s online system. Spaces in these camps fill on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants must provide their own transportation to the camps. The department reserves the right to require age verification for children enrolled in the programs.

• Schedule: 2026 Summer Camp Registration Dates: City Residents: Opens Tuesday, March 24, at 9am; Non-City Residents: Opens Tuesday, March 31, at 9am.
• Price: A 15% administrative fee will be charged on all refund requests for advanced cancellations. Cancellation requests less than two weeks (14 days) before the camp start date are eligible for a 50% refund. There are no refunds on cancellations less than 7 days before the camp start date, and no refunds are given to those who withdraw after the program start date. Refunds will require 4 weeks for processing unless paid by credit card, and credit card refunds will take 5 business days to process. Fee waivers are available for those who qualify.
