Shenandoah Valley United Soccer Club lists leadership roles including Isabel Romero as Main Help Desk, Shular Smith as Recreation Director, and Jason Moore as Director of Coaching. The club states that it serves youth in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia. Its mission is to be the premier soccer club in the Shenandoah Valley by promoting and enhancing soccer for youth in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County and by offering a variety of programs each season throughout the year to improve the quality of players, coaches, and administrators.

The club is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA), and its teams compete in the Virginia Club Soccer League (VCSL), which is a western Virginia–based league with regional schedules, expanded competition, a hybrid club-to-club and team-to-team format, and postseason opportunities for qualifying teams. VCSL hosts Premier and Classic Divisions for boys and girls teams U10–U19, and VCSL champions earn automatic entry into the VYSA President’s Cup state championship. Six Shenandoah Valley United teams finished the spring as VCSL Division Champions, and four teams finished as fall Division Champions. The 2011 Boys Navy team won the Presidents Cup Mid Atlantic Regional Championship, advanced to Nationals in Kansas from July 7–12, went undefeated in Regional Finals group play with a 3–0 record, won the final 1–0, and outscored opponents 12–5 during the Regional Finals week.

The club notes that all fields are open and that recreation registration starting at U4 is open. Shenandoah Valley United states that it has a systematic way to develop players to avoid gaps in development, with a focus on holistic development, player-centered coaching, and a long-term focus. The club summarizes its player values as C.A.R.E., which stands for Compete, All In, Respect, and Effort.

Shenandoah Valley United has a kit partnership with Capelli Sport for uniforms for the 2026–27 and 2027–28 seasons. Riddleberger Brothers is listed as the travel jersey sponsor, and Carr Masonry and Construction is listed as the travel practice jersey sponsor. The club also offers the SVU 2026 Summer Soccer Skillz Clinic Session II from July 20–23, 2026, at 5:30pm, and the SVU 2026 Shenandoah Valley United World Cup Camp on July 27, 2026, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The club notes that U.S. Soccer is allowing youth leagues to use a school-year-based system (August 1–July 31) starting in fall 2026.
