GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps focuses on lacrosse training that includes stick skills, shooting, ground balls, dodging (split, roll, and face), triangle offense, clearing, and face-off and wing play. Campers also work on defense at both the team and individual level, along with man up and man down situations. Day and Half Day campers are required to bring their own lunch and water bottles.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Four-day camps with options for Day (typically 9am–3pm with 20+ hours of field time over 4 days), Half Day (often 9am–12pm for younger campers ages 5–8), Overnight (4 days and 3 nights with 4–6 hours of training each day), and Extended Day (9am–8pm including lunch and dinner)
Since 2001, GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps has run lacrosse instructional programs, and over 100,000 campers have attended. The camps are open to players of all ability levels, with separate girls’ and boys’ lacrosse camps. Campers are evaluated on the first day and placed in groups based on these evaluations. Directors and coaches include current and former professional lacrosse players, winning college coaches, and experienced high school and youth club coaches. GameBreaker is recognized as a national leader for lacrosse instruction and education, and its staff is Double-Goal Certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance. The program states core values of Excellence, Fun, Improvement, Safety, and Sportsmanship, and also states a focus on both skill development and character development, including leadership skills and being a good sport. The stated mission of GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps is to provide young athletes with instruction from top coaches in a positive and fun atmosphere.
